The great artist Wahid travels with his wife Wafaa to Marsa Matrouh. Wafaa meets a child and becomes attached to him. The child drowns in the sea, causing her to suffer a psychological shock that leads to paralysis in her legs. Wahid neglects his work and spends all his time by her side. As for Ilham, Wafaa’s neighbor, she silently loves Wahid and he surrenders to her. Wafaa asks Wahid for a divorce, but he refuses, until the signs of pregnancy appear on Ilham.
