A girl learns the craft of pickpocketing and joins a gang that exploits her in its business. After a while, she becomes fed up with the corrupt life and hates being in this gang. The gang leader asks her to steal a precious jewel owned by a wealthy man. The plan was for this girl to pretend to be the sister of the millionaire’s nephew, and for him to invite her to visit him and meet his uncle.
